Spreading Holiday Cheer With a Festive Event
Over 100 youth and administrators from Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui, and Maui Youth & Family Services attended a festive event at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center on December 18th. The children received gifts, including clothing, excursions, and essential items, purchased with the funds raised during the month-long drive.
Celebrating Community Support and Partnerships
The drive received overwhelming support from Ledcor Maui employees, industry partners, and a generous donor, exceeding the initial $30,000 goal. Local businesses, such as Tanoa, Hi-Tech Surf Sports, Trilogy Excursions, and Maui Gold Pineapple, partnered with Ledcor Maui to provide gifts and experiences for the children.
The non-profit organizations expressed gratitude for the unique program, which provided personalized gifts for their members and cash donations to support their operations. Representatives from the organizations highlighted the positive impact of gifts and support on the children, especially those affected by the recent wildfires and other traumas.
