A generous Maui resident, Linda Vincent of Kula, hand-crafted 51 holiday-themed pillowcases for children in Mālama Family Recovery Center (MFRC) programs. Vincent’s heartfelt gesture ensures each child receives a personalized gift this holiday season. Read the full story in Maui Now.
A Donation Drive for MFRC Families
In addition to the pillowcases, Vincent is donating gift cards for each child and has provided a Christmas tree and decorations for one of the Sober Living Program homes in Kahului. Inspired by personal experience with addiction’s impact on families, Vincent aims to support MFRC families and bring holiday cheer to the children.
She is also organizing a donation drive for diapers, baby wipes, and new baby/child-friendly spoons, forks, and plates. Donations are accepted at the MFRC office at 388 Ano Street in Kahului on December 23rd and 24th, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
