In the aftermath of the 2023 wildfires, our community continues to face invisible challenges: trauma, anxiety, grief, depression and substance use. We are here to help—whether you or a loved one is struggling with loss, instability or emotional overwhelm. Our services are trauma-informed, confidential, and delivered by local professionals who understand Maui’s unique needs.

Maui Behavioral Health is a partnership of three nonprofit agencies dedicated to restoring mental, emotional and behavioral wellbeing across Maui County. Together, we offer a full continuum of care—addiction prevention, crisis intervention, detox, outpatient counseling and residential treatment—designed to support individuals and families at every stage of their healing journey.

Detox, Residential & Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Aloha House provides comprehensive substance use treatment for adults, including medically monitored detox, residential rehab and outpatient programs. Our clinical team helps individuals overcome addiction while rebuilding a foundation of mental and emotional stability. Malama Family Recovery Center is Maui’s only agency providing gender-specific addiction treatment for pregnant and parenting women. Our holistic approach offers safe, nurturing care that recognizes the deep connection between trauma and substance use—especially in the wake of community disasters.

  • Family reunification support

  • Parenting support and education
