Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an intensive, two-day, in-person workshop designed to teach “suicide first aid” to anyone 16 or older, regardless of prior experience. It focuses on recognizing suicide risk, engaging directly, and collaborating with the person to create a safety plan. This training is part of the Livingworks cadre of trainings. Upon completing the two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), participants receive a certificate of completion (valid for three years) and a wallet card. Participants will also receive a comprehensive 20-page workbook and, and stickers to identify themselves as trained suicide first-aid helpers.

We will provide coffee, water and snacks. Lunch is on your own.
