Philip Acang, CSAC
Program Director, Aloha House Outpatient Program
Phillip started with Aloha House in 2016 as a Program Assistant at the Residential Treatment Program. He was then hired as a substance abuse counselor for the In-Custody Program and began working with incarcerated individuals in the Maui County Correctional Center. In 2021 he was hired as a Program Coordinator for the Alternative In-Custody Program. He obtained two associate degrees in 2017, including one in Human Services and one in Substance Abuse Counseling. He also obtained certificates for Case Management and Dynamics of Family Violence. In 2019 he became a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.
On January 1, 2025 Philip became Program Director for Aloha House Outpatient Programs. Here he oversees the outpatient, Sober Living, and Maui Drug Court programs as well as Community Integration Services.
